What time will the DJ arrive and depart from the event?
We request a minimum of 1 hour of set up time prior to when the guests are scheduled to arrive. This allows for sound checking and fixing possible problems. It will take approximately 1 hour to take down and pack up our equipment after the show. What are the advantages of using lighting and effects? Incorporating the use of lights and special effects will enhance the shows overall quality. Creating a sense of separation from the rest of the party is essential for a dance floor. This allows people to enjoy themselves without paying attention to what’s going on with the rest of the party. Do you charge overtime? Functions usually run from 9 pm until 1 am. Most venues will not allow music to be played after 1 am. If the venue will allow the dance to exceed the contracted time, then overtime charges must be discussed with the DJ at that time. We reserve the right to charge $50.00 CDN an hour, for music played after the contracted time of the function.
