What time should I be ready for the Meteor Shower tonight?
It’s not a question of what “time”…because the shower lasts for several weeks. However, the peek is tonight. For an observer at any location, 3 am is best because that is when the apparent radiant (source) of the meteors is rather high in the sky, thus increasing your chance of seeing meteors. But you can see them much earlier or later, just not quite as many. You’ll be able to see some tomorrow and the next few days as well. Again though, not as many. Oh, better to be at a place a place away from city lights…out in the country somewhere. Clear Skies! P.S. It has nothing to do really with where you live, the meteor shower is global.
