What time of year is best for catching certain types of fish?
• Striped Bass- they are pretty consistent all year long, but the best months are generally May, June, August, September and October. May and June are your best bet for surface popper action, while the later months tend to yield larger fish. • Bluefish- they move in around the end of May or beginning of June and keep chomping our lures until they head south in late October or early November. • Fluke- once the water starts warming up in June, the Fluke come and stay, usually, until the beginning of October.
