What time of the year is best for a vacation in Hawaii?
Since I know Honolulu and Oahu, I’ll address that – You want to avoid Honolulu between November and February, because it rains most of the time. The summer is great, not too humid, and the average temperature is around 76 degrees, and it barely rains – it rains almost year round on the windward side of Oahu, but leeward side (Honolulu and Waikiki) hardly sees any rain at this time. If you like things a little cooler, I would say September or early October would be best. You can swim year round, of course, but the nights get relatively cold starting in November.
