What time is dinner?
Answer There are 2 ways to dine while cruising–traditional and freestyle. For traditional dining, you select either an early seating (around 5:30P), or late seating (around 7:00P) when booking your cruise. You eat at the same table with the same tablemates, and have the same wait staff throughout your cruise. Dress is dress-up, with 1-2 formal nights per cruise. You have the choice to eat at a buffet instead of the dining room if you would prefer. With Freestyle cruising, you eat anytime, anywhere. NCL pioneered this type of cruising, and other ships are beginning to use this model. Although you lose some of the intimacy of having the same wait staff, you gain total flexibility in your dining schedule.
What time would you like it to be? NCL’s exclusive Freestyle Cruising lets you choose. They offer open-seating dining in a variety of restaurants and cafés with individual menus, so it’s your choice.
