What time does the Waning Crescent moon rise?
I wondered about this when I read in a book about an early evening crescent moon rising. May be romantic but, it doesn’t seem possible to me. A waning crescent moon would have to rise early in the morning before sunup because a waning crescent moon setting is visible toward the evening sunset or early in the evening. After sundown, the waning crescent moon would set. Whereas, a true full moon would rise about the same time the sun set.
