1. Advertisement- making your establishment and product look nothing like the competition. Read “The Tipping Point” and “Think and Grow Rich” to give your footing before you endeavor in this business. Innovation is key. 2. Product Location- where you get your beans from is important when having a non-franchise company (for now) like yours. Consumers should say “I heared that “XXX’s” has the best coffee in town besides Starbucks, I should try something new. The thing is with this is that since your product is new and great and in the vecinity with your constumers they’ll always drink your coffee first, if time permits.
