What thickness tolerances will Weirton Steel guarantee?

For Hot Roll Carbon Steel Sheet, Weirton will guarantee 3/4 of the commercial (AISI) tolerance. Dimensional tolerances for greater than .25% Carbon and High Strength Low Allow sheets will be produced to meet AISI tolerances. Orders calling for 1/2 gauge tolerance must be reviewed before acceptance. Thickness measurements are taken 1″ from the edge.
