What thickness of tempered glass do I need for my display cabinet?
I would never depend on an answer from this forum to answer a safety related issue like this. Think about a 3 or 4 year old in the middle of a fall going headlong into glass that is too thin. I would turn to a professional and rely on the advice given by those in the industry. I owned an Auto Glass company back in the early 80’s so I am very familiar with glass. Even I don’t know the answer for sure. Depend on those that do know. Call someone like PPG Glass or Binswanger Glass. They will give you credible information.
