What theme or institution in anime should be decreased or increased and why?
This is a very difficult question, because what I think I like the best about anime, in general, is that the characters are very human, even in the most extraordinary situations, and the plot evolves with the characters’ understanding of themselves. Thus, I would like this trend to continue rather than fall in to the trap of two-dimension characters into which so many American dramas fall. Also, I think that fansubbers are very benevolent groups (if they count as an institution), and I applaud the Anime industry for, in general, permitting it to continue as long as the animes have yet to be released in the US (as opposed to the actions of the RIAA and MPAA in the US music and movie industries).
