What the story with Syracuse and why open a store there?
We opened the Syracuse store in 1997. Both stores feature a large warehouse “Indie” vibe (we are too cheap to make them look nice) with free parking lots. Armory Square, Syracuse is very similar to Fells Point, Baltimore. With ownership hailing from upstate New York and Syracuse University lacking a record store, it seemed like a worthy idea. Ron and Eric have made the ‘Cuse store their Media Playhouse…we think you’re gonna love this store if you pay a visit!
