What the heck is a Worldview?
Pincushion doesn’t divide the world into Friends and Everyone Else. We think life is more complex than that. People you know are divided into three concentric circles: Contacts, Acquaintances, and Friends (see the FAQs on the Pincushion Network for details). Whenever you need to make a decision about what people should be included or excluded, we provide a slider that we call the Worldview. The most exclusive setting of the Worldview includes yourself and those that you’ve invited (if relevant). The most expansive setting is Everyone, sometimes called Public. In between, from most private to most public, are Friends, Acquaintances, and Contacts.
