What the heck is a PayPal?
PayPal started on eBay as a direct payment system for buyers and sellers, but quickly evolved into a general-purpose scheme to move money on the Web. More than 20 million folks have already joined the PayPal community — quite an endorsement. PayPal recently had a successful IPO and has become the model for simple, secure Web payments. So successful that eBay gave up on “BillPoint”, its own version, and bought PayPal. But I want to use my credit card! No problem. Just take a few minutes to set up a PayPal account and specify your credit card for transactions. There is no cost to the buyer — PayPal charges are absorbed by sellers.
