What the ending difference between Silent Hill the video game & Silent Hill the Movie?
Silent Hill: The game and Silent Hill: The movie are actually very different. Most notably are the main characters. Some of the stuff remains the same such as the little girl, but other such as the woman looking for her daughter? In the game it was a guy. Anyways, in the game, the ending that I go with is the guy you play as escaping with a baby at the end, while in the movie the Woman and her daughter are stuck in the alternate reality, because if i am not mistaken, the crash at the beginning of the movie killed them. So, basically, in the game they survive, but in the movie they don’t. Two very different takes on pretty much the same plot. Pyramid Head is in silent hill however. Writers probably put him into the movie because he is a well known character from the game. If we are talking about canon, then only the good ending in the game, in which harry survives and escapes with child, could be considered canon.
