There are two types of tests required in the program: “Basic Skills” and “Subject Knowledge.” Basic Skills is met by passing either the CBEST or the Praxis PPST. The Subject Knowledge test relates to your level and subject. The Oregon Licensure Assessment (ORELA) multiple subjects exams must be passed for the Early Childhood/Elementary and Elementary/Middle cohorts and the subject-specific Praxis exams must be passed in the appropriate subject for the Middle/High cohort. Please refer to the Admissions Requirement section for specific test numbers.
