The Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (PASS), which is being developed by the SC Dept. of Education (SCDE), has replaced the Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test (PACT). PASS tests were administered for the first time in spring 2009 and results will be used for school and school district accountability purposes beginning with the 2008-2009 report cards.
