What terrain sets are there?
There are four different terrain sets featured in Tiberian Sun; arctic ice, urban, temperate grassland, and desert. The urban terrain set has complete city scapes built in, including moving cars. The living city is a “neutral lement,” meaning neither side controls it. All of the buildings in the city can be destroyed if you are the kind that likes breaking things, but that may not always be the wises of choices. Cities are more than just firing ranges, they can be used to your advantage. Civilians can be heavily armed, and there are hospitals that can be used to heal your troops. If you use a hospital in the city, it can never become your own building, so you have to guard it with tanks and troops in order to protect it and keep it under your control. In the arctic terrain set, ice gradually grows across the rivers and lakes as you play on. When they are all solidified, you even have the chance to take troops over the ice.
