What temperature should Pino Nior be served?
Most red wines should be served between about 13-18 C (55-66 F). It is often recommended to serve red wines at room temperature, but this advice stems from early days in Europe where room temperature was usually much cooler than we keep our homes now. As a general rule, lighter reds like Pinot Noir and Gamay should be served on the cooler side of the spectrum since it accentuates their lively acidity while more tannic, full-bodied reds like Cabernet should be served toward the warmer end since their tannins can seem harsh if served too cool.
