What temperature are ghd straighteners?
I just tested a pair of GHD Straighteners model 4.0b and the temperature went up to 200c, this can vary slightly with different models. don’t forget when they make a beeping sound they start to drop in temp, roughly 15c – 20c if your strighners are reaching temperatures of 230c – 250c then there over heating and need to be adjusted. There is a variable resistor on one of the PCB’s inside which can be turned anticlockwise very slightly which will reduce their operating temperature, (NOT ALL MODELS HAVE THIS) 180 / 200 degrees celcius is what you need for straightening hair, anything higher and your hair will start to burn.
