• Use positive language and a rewards system. Each time the child uses the toilet give them a sticker on a chart, or sing an encouraging GOOD JOB song, clap for the child, celebrate! When the child does not use the toilet do not chastise them, just remind them to use the toilet and encourage them for next time. If the child refuses to use the bathroom, do not force them, maybe they are not ready.
