What techniques and tools will I learn about Stress Management from a Calm Seminar?
CALM teaches about a fast system of mental relaxation. It can provide a method whereby you can relax in seconds and what is more important, by using the system, you can prevent yourself from getting stressed, for example, when somebody yells at you, instead of yelling back and getting upset, you can use the techniques as an interrupt mechanism whereby you can immediately relax and respond to the situation. In addition, if there is deep stress and anxiety, then the methods can be used by using meditation which is 20 minutes at a time. Techniques that are covered include the wording of the goal, the laws of goal setting, the reasons for the goals you want, visualisation of the success of the goal, emotionalising the goal and putting it all together and doing all this 5 times a day in the Alpha state.
