What technique is best for hair transplantation- FUT or FUE?
FUT, notwithstanding the hype in media, is the most advance single procedure today in hair transplantation and is done by over 95% of leading hair transplant clinics in the USA. In India, the TOP 5 hair transplant plastic surgeons do the FUT method (www.ahrsindia.com) . FUE, on the other hand, is the oldest method, renamed due to commercial compulsions as FUE- just like old wine in a new bottle. The punch technique has been in vogue in dermatologic practice for more than a century.
