Registration and orientation generally takes place on the Sunday before the seminar officially begins. The entire first week follows a straight schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, classes for school administrators run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Week two contains some deviations and special events: • Wednesday evening is set aside for a forum/discussion on childrens rights. • Teachers allow class time from Monday through Thursday for the participants, working in small groups, to prepare and present sample lessons. • Participants are expected to prepare one lesson for each of the subjects taken. • On Friday morning (the last day of the seminar), a sampling of presentations from each group are demonstrated again for the entire seminar population. Local teachers who are not taking the seminar and others from the surrounding community are also invited to come and observe. • Friday afternoon is reserved for the graduation ceremony.
