What tasks do CADD Drafting Technicians perform?
Drafting was originally done with pencil and paper, and training in traditional, technical drafting is still necessary to fully understand and explain concepts. But todays computers allow CADD operators to construct variations of plans and make changes quickly. CADD technicians, often called Drafters or CADD Operators, may work with engineering firms, contractors, city planners, and manufacturers to create technical drawings that give building instructions for everything from computer hard drives to architecture.
