What tap power is required for the OWM to operate and how do you work with different optical tap powers on different devices?
The OWM is non-intrusive, where it only requires as little as 0.5% of the light on a given fiber to make its measurements. Given that DWDM devices have different optical tap values, the OWM can be configured through the GUI (graphical user interface) to accommodate any optical tap value from 0.5% to 100% (e.g. plugging directly into a laser).
