What tablet should I buy to draw anime?
If you are just starting out and learning how to draw digitally, I suggest you pick the most affordable pen tablet you can buy. One of the misconceptions when buying a pen tablet is that you should buy the best, which is like buying a Ferrari when you’ve just learned how to drive. So my best bet for you is to go for a starter pen tablet, or better yet, a good second-hand one. For Wacom, yes, you could try the Bamboo. The Graphire series is also a good choice. I also recommend Genius pen tablets, because they also work fine as mouse substitutes. Though not as good as Wacom, Genius tablets can train your hands and could replace your mouse. One thing I should note, though, is make sure that the pen tablet is pressure-sensitive, so you can make strokes of varying thicknesses (which is very important for drawing). There are still some pen tablets that are basically just mice–steer away from them. If you are in Asia, you’re lucky, because there are a lot of generic but good pen tablets here
