What system is recommended for Faculty & Staff?
Outlook/Exchange is the preferred choice for email for Butler faculty and staff. Butler Faculty and staff may use Bluemail instead, but will lose the calendar and workgroup features of Exchange. Bluemail does perform better on older equipment, and due to this may be preferred. Access to email via IMAP clients is also supported, primarily for use off-campus. To switch between Bluemail/IMAP and Exchange, you must contact the Help Desk to have your account updated.
