What system does the Endocrine System work with?
1. The Endocrine System is located in your pancreas and in your thyroid- it is all the chemicals that are produced to make your body develop and live. Virtually every function of the body (mainly hormones) comes from the Endocrine System. 2. It works with other systems in many ways- when you’re scared, it secretes adrenaline so your brain and body react in a way that could possibly help save your life. Your pancreas secretes insulin when you eat so your cells will have access to sugars that are vital to life. Your thyroid controls many aspects of your life; ie: your skin elasticity (it tells the body to secrete oils in the skin) it tells your hair to grow… etc etc. 3.Pancreas, thyroid, brain, heart… 4.To regulate the bodies functions/hormones/tells cells what to do, tells the body how it’s supposed to react. 5. It’s on a reaction basis- like my prior example of when you eat food, sugar starts increasing in your blood, your pancreas recognizes that (except in people with diabetes),
