What SUV would you buy?(2010 Ford scape/2010 GMC Traverse)?
I’m assuming you mean the GMC Terrain. I’d get the GMC. Under the skin the Escape is the exact same truck it was when it came out in 2001. The GMC Terrain is also based on an older platform, but it’s seen continual upgrades since it came out on the 2002 Saturn Vue, was used by the 2005 Chevy Equinox, then was sent to Germany where it became the Opel Antara which was imported to the US as the next generation Vue, and then now it’s been further refined into the 2010 Equinox and Terrain. The new engine and transmission in the latest iteration give the best fuel economy in the class, even ahead of the Escape Hybrid. The build quality and interior are better too, and reliability has so far been good. There weren’t any major problems on past Theta platformed CUV’s, and the Terrain has many upgrades from them so it should fare even better. I’d buy the Terrain between those two, but I prefer the styling of its Chevy Equinox twin.
