All surfaces must be clean and dry. Power washing is an excellent way to get surfaces clean. Walls must be caulked. On metal roofs, rust must be treated, bolts must be tightened, seals must be replaced and seams must be caulked. Leaks on asphalt roofs must be repaired before coating (see product tech information sheets for additional information).
