What support will be provided by the programme to those practices affected by Seetecs decision?
A. NHS CFH is working closely with Seetec to minimise the impact on practices. Once the practices enter into the GPSoC scheme NHS CFH will provide funding for the practices software licence to ensure that practices continue to receive full functionality until November 2008. The practices will have a choice of systems from the GPSoC Framework or their LSP and the PCT will manage the migration activities locally. Under the terms of the GPSoC agreement, Seetec will offer ongoing services that provide practices with access to their data following migration to an alternative system.
