Your institute will charge fees for the course of anything up to 3000. Grants towards fee costs: Trainees may be eligible to have their fees paid in part by the government. Trainees with a household income of less than 17910, will receive 2765 towards their fees. Trainees with a household income over this amount will receive a varying amount of support from the government. Undergraduate trainees with a household income of up to 38,330 will be eligible for a maintenance grant, on a sliding scale of up to 2765. Postgraduate trainees with a household income of up to 37,425 will be eligible for a maintenance grant, on a sliding scale from 1230 to 2700. All PGCE trainees will be awarded at least 1200 towards fees, from the government. Trainees may also be eligible for a further grant from their university or college to go towards fees. In the case of students receiving the full 2765 grant from central government, the university should pay a grant to cover the remainder of the tuition fees.
