MKS will produce two different solutions for the 64-bit Windows operating system. • A 32-bit suite of MKS Toolkit commands and utilities which is 64-bit file aware and contains a 64-bit sh, ksh and bash. Telnet, ssh, xterm, etc. all support running 64 or 32-bit applications on 64-bit Windows. • MKS Toolkit for Enterprise Developers 64-bit Edition. MKS Toolkit v8.5 was certified to work against the Itanium version of Windows XP 64-bit Edition but does not contain the 64-bit aware enhancements.
