What support does the ESL Dept. provide for Interpretation and Translation?
Section 7 Student registration forms include information about the language necessary to communicate with the parents/guardians. EAs and Parent Liaisons provided by the ESL Department may be used to fill such needs at school. In addition, schools can request Interpretation and Translation Services (ITS) at the district’s web site: http://inside.interpretation-translation.pps.k12.or.us/. The ESL/Bilingual Department suggests interpretation and/or translation for District Forms and Letters, Essential Communications, Essential Meetings and Functions, and Emergency Procedures.
