DMC can discover ESX, ESXi and Hyper-V Virtualization host servers. It will discover the host server and associate the guest VMs in the All Devices tree (Virtualization host servers appear under the ‘Virtualization Hosts’ node only if one or more guest VMs exist on the host server). There is very limited inventory from the guest VMs. Please see FAQ #13.6 for additional information on ESXi support.
