What support and resources are being provided by the PCT to other practices in Wolverhampton?

0

The PCT has and is continuing to invest in other practices and in Primary Care. The resources for these new practices is new money. However the SSDP has already provided significant investment in buildings such as the Phoenix Centre and the Gem. The PCT is still working with pre-existing practices to help them improve their services and reduce inequalities. Through the SSDP, the PCT has 14 new buildings in the planning process (excluding these new services). The PCT also has resources available for practices outside the SSDP. For example, Whitmore Rheams, Lower Green and Penderford have all been refurbished and there is investment being made in other practices across the City. This includes investment in security and training of acute sector nurses in primary care.
