What supervision exists in the residence halls?

0

Residence Life staff consists of resident advisers (RAs), programming assistants (PAs), resident directors (RDs) and center coordinators (CCs). The RAs are carefully selected live-in student staff members who have primary responsibility for guiding and advising residents. The RDs and PAs, who also live in the housing centers, report directly to a center coordinator. Their responsibilities include providing leadership in a housing area, coordinating daily administrative and maintenance activities, assisting in the advisement of hall government, and participating in program development. Each of the five University housing areas has its own Center Coordinator to oversee and assist the officers of the center’s student government in planning housing and center functions, supervises RAs and the RD, and is responsible for the general administration of the center.
