The comedy co-stars Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Jaime Pressly and Rashida Jones. With Iron Man 2 already set for an April 30, 2010 release, we asked Favreau for an update. You guys were the only ones who gave a sh*t before Comic-Con. Then since Comic-Con, everything just started to build, then people got excited by it, and then we just were at the MTV Awards a couple of days ago. There were rumors that Iron Man 2 begins with Tony Stark vomiting into a toilet. This led many fans to believe that Iron Man 2 would jump right into the “demon in a bottle” subplot that was featured in several issues of the 1979 Iron Man comic book. Many fans have heard the rumor that Iron Man will transform in the film and become an alcoholic. Iron Man 2 star Robert Downey, Jr. denies this saying: “I think that’s probably best saved because it’s such its own storyline.” He goes on to say “We’re going for the interim space [between the origin and ‘Demon’], which is more a look behind the mask of someone who says he’s Iron Man and what it really is to become a superhero.” Probably a good move on the film-makers behalf considering the tremendous success of Iron Man and the anticipated success of its sequel. They can give away everything in the first two films. The character has to have somewhere to go emotionally in the next film to follow. If the story jumps right to the depths of the h
