Conforma Clad can be applied to most iron and nickel-based alloys, including low-carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steels. Cast irons can be clad, provided they can withstand the brazing temperature of approximately 2000°F. Other metals that cannot tolerate this temperature cannot be clad.
