What styles of yoga are taught?
Kripalu, Prana, Kundalini, we have beginner’s yoga, which is more the basic Hatha yoga. Normally classes you would drop into, like a gym, and you have to catch up. If you take a class that’s more of a training like this, you’re more able to adapt the postures for your body, ask questions and get more instruction. What makes the NY Open Center Unique? It’s dedicated as a holistic center, meaning we’re not just educating the body; we’re educating the intellect with information. This education is transformative, to change your mind, change your heart, change your capacity to be open to life. You’re not just there to do yoga; it’s meant to address all aspects. There are trainings in professions. You can become a yoga teacher, a holistic, homeopathic, or Reiki practitioner. We have sound and music facilitator teacher trainings.
