What student organizations are available to students majoring in Fashion Merchandising?
There are three students organizations in the department geared toward student interests in various aspets of the fashion industry: SMA, FDSA, and the Little Red Book Association. The Student Merchandising Association (SMA)is open to all students interested in careers related to fashion merchandising. This organization provides members with opportunities for professional development through guest speakers, market trips and conferences. Students also have the opportunity to gain first hand experience in activities such as our annual charity fashion show, clothing drives and other service related activities.
