What student accommodation does the University offer and is it guaranteed for first year students?
The University has a number of accommodation sites on and within a 1 mile radius of the campus. In total we have over 3,200 accommodation rooms for our students. Our student accommodation is single sex and is occupied between 2 – 12 students sharing self-contained flats or student houses. We also have postgraduate only accommodation and accommodation for students with families. All students are guaranteed a place in University accommodation provided they apply before 1 September and hold an offer of a place at the University. Students can apply online for accommodation from March once they have received an offer from the University. Prices range between £56 – £95 per week so there is something to suit all budgets. Accommodation contracts last 40 weeks, with longer contracts available for nursing and postgraduate students. Further information can be found on our accommodation pages.
