Under the Federal Direct PLUS loan program parents may borrow up to the full estimated cost of attendance minus other financial aid received, including Federal Direct Stafford Loans. Your parent cannot apply through any lender other than the Department of Education. Federal Direct PLUS loan application instructions will be provided on our website collegeaid.uchicago.edu after April 5, 2010.
