Answer Because the A/D Converter will not turn off automatically in the HALT mode, if the power consumption is an issue, users should turn the A/D Converter off by clearing the PCR0, PCR1 and PCR2 bits in the ADCR Register before entering the HALT mode and turn the A/D Converter on by setting the PCR0, PCR1 and PCR2 bits to 1 after waking up from HALT.
