The National Trichinae Certification Program is guided by a set of Program Standards. These standards detail the procedures for meeting, establishing and maintaining the requirements necessary to be recognized as Trichinae Certified. These standards are organized into eight parts: definitions, program responsibilities and requirements, administrative procedures, Qualified Accredited Veterinarian training, certification documentation and benefits, flow of events for certification, appendices, and references.
