The California Fuel Cell Partnership identifies four major goals that must be achieved for hydrogen fuel-cell technology to be available for commercial use: Prove the reliability and durability of the fuel-cell Reduce the cost of building fuel-cell engines to make them competitive with today’s internal combustion engines Make infrastructure investments support wide-scale introduction Secure public acceptance to create demand for this technology.
