• Letter of Interest. Each potential applicant must submit a detailed Letter of Interest describing the project, detailing how the statutory selection criteria are met, and outlining the proposed financial plan and requested credit assistance. • Application. Applications may be submitted only after the TIFIA JPO confirms the project’s basic eligibility and readiness. • Project Presentation. Applicants whose submission passes an initial screening are invited to make an oral presentation to the USDOT on behalf of the project. • Project Evaluation.
