First, a person or group that feels it has been wronged consults an attorney or law firm that has experience in evaluating and pursuing Class Actions. Then, the attorneys investigate the extent of the wrong and the best course of action to correct that wrong. A letter may be sent to the alleged wrongdoers to try to obtain the desired relief without litigation.
