On the computer that maintains this website and sends the broadcast class emails – the following software is used. Firewall – Broderbund Zone Alarm Pro runs constantly. It is one of the few firewalls that monitors both incoming and outgoing activity. Suspect activity is suspended and alerts are displayed. Viruses – Norton SystemWorks w/ Anti-virus runs constantly scanning both incoming and outgoing emails. Virus definitions are updated at least weekly and after that a full system scan is performed. Pests – PestPatrol scans the system constantly and is updated weekly. After each update a full system scan is performed. Adware – Lavasoft Ad-Aware Pro scans the system constantly and is checked for updates weekly. After each update a full system scan is performed.
