What states qualify for unemployment benefit extension?
The President signed the unemployment bill into law yesterday morning You should get a letter within 2 weeks to start calling in for your extended benefits. Check with your local Unemployment office website, I did yesterday and WI has a notice already Here are the criteria ! It's 13 extra weeks long You must have worked at least 20 weeks before getting laid off This is approved for all states. Must have exhaused your regular unemployment within 1 year ( I believe, I read somewhere it was after Nov 06 but I'm not sure about that without reading further.
